According the Bureau of Labor Statistics, motor vehicle accidents are the number one cause of workplace fatalities. According to NIOSH 58% of workers who died in crashes at work in 2014 were not employed in motor vehicle operator jobs such as semi-truck operators, bus drivers or taxi drivers. Anyone who has employees out on the road for any business-related reason needs to look at conducting some kind of driver training for their employees. This makes good business sense. Driver safety training can have a tremendous positive impact on helping reduce the potential for a devastating vehicular collision and the resulting nightmare, especially if the life or health of anyone involved in the incident is taken or compromised.
