Greg Van Ness is a Regional President with AssuredPartners and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the West Region, comprised of 20 locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.
Prior to leading the West Region, Greg was President of one of the largest offices in the West, Tolman & Wiker (“TW”), a large regional insurance brokerage operation that is now the Southern California agency platform for AssuredPartners. With over 30 years of insurance brokerage experience in property & casualty insurance sales, risk consulting, and regional leadership with public and privately-held insurance brokerages, Greg became Tolman & Wiker’s first CEO in August, 2012.

Denise Sutton is the Agency President of Tolman & Wiker Insurance Services, and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of Tolman & Wiker’s agency platform, comprised of offices in Ventura, Santa Maria, Bakersfield, and Westlake Village, CA. Denise’s leadership responsibilities include branch management of the Ventura home office location of Tolman & Wiker.

Vance Taylor specializes in finance, and is the manager of the accounting department and CFO for Tolman & Wiker. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance department including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and administering the company’s pension and 401k plans. Previous roles include CFO for Near North Insurance Brokerage’s California operations; Controller for Cal-Surance; Accounting Manager for Fremont Compensation; Supervisor/Auditor for KPMG; and CFO for Alfred Publishing Company in addition to holding executive financial positions with other distribution and manufacturing companies. Vance attended the University of Utah, where he received a B.S. in Accounting. Vance holds the designation of C.P.A. and is also a licensed insurance agent. In addition, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Vance joined Tolman & Wiker Insurance in 2008.
Josh Bedgood is Branch Manager for our Santa Maria, CA location and Operations Manager for our Bakersfield, CA location and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and general management of the Santa Maria branch as well as overseeing P&C operations for the Bakersfield, CA location. Prior to joining Tolman & Wiker in May of 2015, Josh worked 11 years for State Farm in Louisiana and Mississippi as an Agency Manager. Josh currently holds both the AINS (Associate in Insurance) and AFIS (Agriculture and Farm Insurance Specialist) designations.

Shaun Kelly specializes in all lines of property and casualty insurance for industries including contract security firms, agriculture, construction, oil & gas. He holds a BS in Business Administration – Finance from California State University, Fresno. Shaun’s associations include (CALSAGA), the Kern County Builders Exchange, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Kern County. Shaun joined Tolman & Wiker Insurance Services in 2005, and has been a Property and casualty agent since 1993.
