TITLE: Employee Benefits Producer/Consultant

LOCATION: All Offices – Bakersfield, Salinas, Santa Maria, Ventura



Exciting long-term opportunity for motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Producer/Consultant. Seeking a dynamic and trusted business professional with solid client relationship skills interested in learning and mastering new concepts in risk management for this key role. Position offers major growth potential, including the possibility of eventual partnership for exceptionally high-performing individuals.


The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently with access to the resources of a large professional organization. We’re looking for a self motivated team player who is interested in leveraging networking opportunities within the company. Candidates with an established network of professional contacts and/or specialized designations highly encouraged to apply.


Excellent problem-solving skills, experience with complex transactions and large groups (50+ lives), and thorough knowledge of group and individual medical, life and disability plans preferred. A professional demeanor and a personal commitment to continuing education, along with excellent communication skills and strong computer skills are required. Minimum of 5 to 7 years related experience preferred, but not required.


The right candidate for this position will enjoy working in a team environment to provide prompt, courteous, and accurate service to our clients.   Excellent interpersonal skills are vital in this position. You will be responsible for providing superior service to clients, prospects, Partners, and insurance company representatives in the development and retention of accounts. This individual acts as the primary contact between the Agency and the client’s decision maker. Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with strong organizational skills and an unwavering commitment to excellence.


Additional responsibilities include: providing day-to-day employee benefits advice and consultant services to assigned accounts and qualified prospects; coordinating the marketing process for all applicable lines of coverage, and offering guidance with plan selections; following up with clients and prospects to complete the placement of group and individual health, life and disability coverages. May assist with benefit enrollment meetings and accurately processing all related documents.
