Cal/OSHA Overview and Frequently Cited Regulations

Tuesday, July 17, 2018

9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (English)

Cal/OSHA is responsible for ensuring California employees have a safe and healthful work environment by developing and enforcing safety and health standards. Cal/OSHA is divided into two main branches: the Enforcement Branch and the Consultation Services Branch. Both share the same goal of ensuring employee safety and health, but each Branch uses a different approach. This seminar will feature a speaker from the Cal/OSHA Consultation Services Branch who will address the following topics.

What triggers an inspection from Cal/OSHA?
What does Cal/OSHA do during an inspection?
What happens if the Cal/OSHA inspector finds something wrong?
How are citations classified and how costly are they?
What do inspectors typically find?
…and more!
