This seminar aims to provide the participants with an understanding why and how to conduct workplace accident or incident investigations. Often times when an accident occurs at work, the company is ill prepared to conduct an investigation. Investigations often fail to determine what caused the accident or incident and how to prevent future similar incidents, “carelessness” and “be careful” are not acceptable causes or solutions! Accident/Incident investigations should be useful tools that help identify internal deficiencies that exist within the organization which allowed for the circumstances to exist that led up to the incident! Please join us as we review the basics of the accident investigation process.
